What went wrong with your FX today?

I would wipe the area clean and give that wire a couple more twists to see if it fixes it. What you're looking at is the grease from the inner tie rod ball joint. I'm not too worry about it personally. If it is the steering fluid, it would drip and a I would concern.

Coming down from snowboarding last night, the fx lost power for a split second. I thought the trans slipped. Then the VDC Off/ Slip/ SES lights lite up. When I got home, I tried restarting the car and it was hard to start. Came to IS to check symptoms. All old posts lead to the camshaft sensor. Took it to autozone and of course got the P0340 code. Bought the bank 1 camshaft sensor, and took about an hour to replace. I couldn't get the dang connector off.. that thing is hard! finally with some needle nose holding the connector down and pulling the sensor i was able to get it off. Then the dang bolt didn't want to go back in either... AND i lost a midget 10mm wrench down in the engine bay to be never seen again....

205,000 miles on the original camshaft sensor.. not bad.
It's always the 10mm that gets lost. I can't find mine [emoji50]

I don't want to mess with anything because i still have warranty on it. I informed my service advisor last time in for maintenance and he said that its "normal and its extra grease from factory coming out"

How about the driver side where theres grease too?

Haha. There's always that one in the back with tools. I've never used it, but I'm pretty confident you can take the whole car apart with it

That is steering fluid, but its somewhat normal for a years old. Again personally, I'm not too concern unless I see droplet of fluid there.

Rear wiper stop working, need tires, and suspension gets worse as time goes by.

Take advantage of it... 1)rear wiper delete (unless you live somewhere where you need it) 2)buy a nice quality set of tires 3)coilovers

1) evaluating that option
2) looking for a good set of tires that will last for at least 60k miles
3) bought a used set of coilovers in Oct last year and they are garbage.

Need to save up for items 2 and 3.

Weird. I just replaced my cylinder 6 coil pack and now my car doesn't do the ticking noise anymore.. Lol, this has been the case for >1000 miles. Odd.

My car overheated Saturday morning...so I was checking everything out and noticed that the lower radiator hose was cold and the upper was hot, so I came to the conclusion that the thermostat wasn't opening. I replaced it today and everything is back to working order. [emoji3]

Valve body committed suicide

Strut bearing/pillowballs are seized on my coilovers as well

UGH! Are you gonna rebuild or replace? I just bought a set to replace my MEGAN's and so far they're MUCH better quality over the MEGAN's...

Im going to replace them, BC coils are just as shit as the Megan ones
