What kind of battery are you running?

2nd Gen FX35 originally called for group 35, but later changed to the FX50 size which is 24F. The 24F size has more cold cranking amps than group 35. Just get one from Costco and call it a day, 60 month warranty and made by Johnson Controls.
 
Hmm.. I'll have to go to one and check, don't remember an auto section. Maybe only some Walmarts do?

I had my dealer look up the details and conclude not finding the part number. This is completely my guess but my thinking is this piece is not sold separately and u have to buy the whole plastic piece that goes into the windshield that contains the foam. And if that hypothesis is accurate then it would lead me to think what Aaron is thinking is false. But then how would Aaron get a new piece if that was the case.

I'm not sure. It's bugged me awhile.

I'll have to look for that next time im under the hood, i put in a 10" sub today and removed the plastic piece that the battery cover locks into. there are 2 different size pieces of weather stripping on that plastic piece and thats what i thought this whole thing referred too but this piece doesn't sit against the windshield so im not sure if this is the weather stripping or not that you guys are mentioning
 
So I decided to go for Odyssey 34R-PC1500T after having tried a couple other brands. Its been over a month (not long) since it was installed, its been performing great. The car cranks a lot easier and quicker. Hasn't got cold yet but I hope it performs the same during the winter and many years to come. I'll report back after winter.
