I can unlock it while I'm driving , but I have tried to disable it so it won't come on automatically, but I can't. I know I could disable it on my 09 but not on my 2010.
I still have to check with the Dealer if it's possible. As soon as you reach a certain speed it locks and does not unlock until you shut down the engine or manually unlock it.
 
The cupholders are annoying; a little sloppy. Other than that, nothing major except for the 35 is somewhat underpowered. It sounds awesome at full throttle, but nothing really happens.
 
This is the only car that I own that makes me think for another mod right after completing a new mod.

At one point I was thinking of trading it in but when I think about the work that I did on it, I had a complete 360.

I really dislike the fact that my FX45 do not have lighted steering wheel controls and the soft bubble prone foam on the top of the dash, which looks like crap after you use a panel tool to remove the speaker grills until it reshapes itself. But other than that, not too many complaints here.

- Hate that this car came with a tape player. In 2003, nobody was using tapes anymore. With the iPod hookup and SAT available, they could have used this area for a pocket to hold your iPod.

- Not enough cup holders. When I have 2 drinks in the cupholders now, there is no where to put my phone. Goes with above ^^, Could have used the tape player area for a pocket to hold your phones.
 
No lighted steering wheel buttons.
Can't turn off just the seat portion of the heated seat. I like using just the back portion most of the time.
Horriable under steer at high speed. Actually dangerous.
Rear brake rotors warp WAAAY too easy and too soon.
Can't turn off the ability to lower the reart windows with the key fob. I hate comming out of my house and finding rear windows are down!
No daytime running lights. That's stupid and dangerous.
Sometimes I have to push a control button twice to get the switch to operate.
Poor indoor lighting.
Center console cup holders SUCK.
Drivers door will not unlock when put tranny in park.

The American cars I've owned have much more user selectiable features than the FX does. I miss the ability to set the vehicle up the way I want it.
 
+1 on the tape player

And also the gas hog that it is. But I guess that's what I signed up for (the ECU reflash didn't help, it made the mpg worse, but made it faster, oh well)

I dont know if you made that up but the rear windows do not roll down with the keyfob. Only the front windows roll down with the keyfob. As a matter of fact no Infiniti has rear window roll down. It doesnt exist lol.

The steering wheel switches do light up. Mine light up in a pretty white light as night time. Maybe yours are broken.

Dont know what you mean about the unsteer mine drives fine on the highway I dont have it.

My rear rotors never warped and I have 51K on thr oringal rotors and have been through 2 brake pad changes. This is the best braking system ive ever had in terms of reliability.


If you think the lights are dim inside upgrade to Leds for cheap money.

My rears roll down with my keyfob on my 2005 45
 
They dont on mine. Maybe it shut off or disabled. Every nissan or infiniti ive had I never been able to do that. My G35 doesnt do it either
 
The rear windows only roll down with 2003-2005 45's. They had the auto up/down via door switch as well. It was discontinued starting in 2006. It is not compatible with later years so no plug and play. 2006 is also when they started with the back lit steering wheel. Previous MY did not have it.

All windows on my 2004 FX45 roll down with the unlock button on the key fob, what I hate is that they do to roll up with the lock button, I saw I thread stating that they do, I tried it again several times, they don't.

I hate very much changing the intake air filter.
