I dislike that in order to adjust the memory seat position, you first have to turn the ignition switch to the ACC position. So after I graciously let my wife drive, I have to squeeze my fat ass - excuse me, my sexy fat ass - in between the seat and steering wheel to turn the ignition and then adjust the seat. On my wife's car, I can adjust the electric memory seat before turning the ignition.
You can make the seat and steering wheel auto track back when door opens. Then program your fob to your settings so once you close the door it goes to your settings.
Speaking of adjusting the memory seats... how do you change your saved settings..?
I can unlock it while I'm driving , but I have tried to disable it so it won't come on automatically, but I can't. I know I could disable it on my 09 but not on my 2010.
I still have to check with the Dealer if it's possible. As soon as you reach a certain speed it locks and does not unlock until you shut down the engine or manually unlock it.
Bump
I do that already, unless I only have it 1/2 way programmed. It is always set to "position #1" and goes back and forth automatically upon door open. Except, when my wife drives, she manually adjusts, and then it stays there until I reset it back to #1.
I will have to play with it some more now that you mention it.
Didn't know the car could differentiate between keys. My i-key #2 is still wrapped up in the original wrapper, so I'm not about to ruin the newness of it now.
