Yeah, it's a little disheartening driving around knowing that a Toyota Sienna can give you a run, but then I remind myself the FX is a great car otherwise. I almost got a Vortech a few years back, but realized that even then, it was going to be slow. The cost to maybe run low 14's wasn't worth it to me and to always have to worry about the motor letting go.
Now the problem is that I alternate between driving the FX and a modified 335i with ~380whp on the same commute. With the BMW, I can pass people with ease, close gaps and get around traffic. With the FX, it requires a lot of advanced planning and carrying momentum because there is no acceleration especially if you're rolling at low speeds in traffic, it's always in one gear too high.
