What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Bro the funny thing is that no mods were needed to install the brace over the exhaust. Look carefully at where mine is bolted in at because this whole time I thought that it bolted up further back. Nope. Your's is exactly the same.

That's awesome it worked perfectly. The new version exhaust is a little diff for sure as they made one exhaust that works for the 35, OX70 and 50. Mine needed modification, I will post a pic when I get back to Cali.

Does it touch the piping anywhere or is there plenty room between the brace and the pipe? I can't tell from the pic.

Rip, they never did finish one for the FX50, did they?
They don't list it on their site.
EDIT oops, I did find it right here : http://arkperformanceusa.com/ark_03_product_01.php

Ark exhaust on an FX50 would be absolutely insane.

Tons of clearance. Very visible when viewed from the rear. My fiancée thought it was a dumb idea to get the brace because nobody would be able to see it.

That is, until she was driving behind me...then she still thought it was a dumb idea. :rotfl:

Sunny day in NJ. Finally stopped neglecting Rumble of her true beauty. Didn't even know my paint sparkles in the sun.

Thank you. Crap I guess it will be sitting in the garage tomorrow. Needed to be done though, guess I will just have to wax again! Plus I have an unlimited pass at my car wash. ;-)

Such a nice car

Thank you thank you. All I need is some gtr's and we will be twins. Bad back though, don't know if I am moving up to 20s.

yeah . . that and a few other things. Do it!
Despite what you might think, Going to a 20 doesnt worsen the ride. it actually makes it better with less bounce. & with a change to coils, it's butter smooth on the highway. You feel nothing but smooth road over joints

Hmm. I'll keep that in mind. I currently have h&rs, haven't thought about coilovers. I will have to ride in a few more fxs with 20s. Too tempting with all the fancy wheels on here

Full 5k interior LED swap, Osram 5k CBI HID headlight swap.

Edit: The Osram's are nice, but they are in no way worth the $200/pair price tag. In actuality they're really not that much brighter than the OEM bulbs. Brighter and clearer, yes, but nothing to freak out over. I'm going to keep them, but my advice to others considering the swap is to hold off and invest in something else.
