What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Thanks man. I ordered the front strut brace and ...eight of the 4 point ladder braces. The ladders should be done in a couple months. There will be deals to be had for the members here on IS. :smile (2):
 
Did this to my FX. The driver front shock exploded. Oil splattered everywhere in the wheel well. What a PIA to remove all the rings and bottom bracket off the shock. I had to bring out my big old pipe wrench to loosen everything. Later decided to use a spare new blue colored locking ring to replace the copper colored one as it being chewed up and got stuck on the old shock. The old shock lasted about 3 years.

checked all four corners for shake/wiggle, as one of my bearings is going out (again). and I think my front shocks are done. Slamming45's shocks can't get her fat enough :sluggish:

So I have my front shocks off right now, should I just blast them with PB Blaster or WD40 and let them soak for a few days?

Absolutely. May have to mount the old shocks assembly back onto car for leverage to remove the bottom bracket from the old shock when time come to replacing them.
