Did this to my FX. The driver front shock exploded. Oil splattered everywhere in the wheel well. What a PIA to remove all the rings and bottom bracket off the shock. I had to bring out my big old pipe wrench to loosen everything. Later decided to use a spare new blue colored locking ring to replace the copper colored one as it being chewed up and got stuck on the old shock. The old shock lasted about 3 years.
That brace tucks up there pretty good and that Ark exhaust looks fantastic.
Absolutely. May have to mount the old shocks assembly back onto car for leverage to remove the bottom bracket from the old shock when time come to replacing them.So I have my front shocks off right now, should I just blast them with PB Blaster or WD40 and let them soak for a few days?
