Had some squeaky brakes so replaced the front pads (thought noise was coming from front). Didn't solve it. Got rear pads and discovered the passenger rear brake caliper bracket was broken so replaced the rear pads and the brackets as well.
Also, had to switch some titling around and put the FX under my commercial fleet so she got a new alias. I love the new Ohio plates. No more ugly rainbow, it now matches my paint pretty well.
Did you just change the bulb or the whole thing? If you just changed the bulb all you had to do was stick your hand through the side (pull back a piece of plastic) of the fog light and take out the old bulb and put in the new. Not one tool is needed. Takes 1 minute to change.
Installed Osram 5000k d2s bulbs in my headlights today. Look so much better than the stock bulbs. They're the exact color I was looking for. And once I do the projector lens mod, light output should be even better.
Well my wife and daughter Traveled abroad to visit the family so obviously my skin started itching and the mod worm began! Took in the car yesterday to:
Interior
1- LCD installation - headrests
2- upholstery work on the drivers seat
3- full detailing
4- Steering wheel refurbishment
Exterior
1- Angel Eyes + Black housing
2- Projector Fog Lights
3- Blacked out Grille - the Infiniti logo (CARID messed up on the SS grille and turns out it's on backorder and they put a estimated ship date July 10th! so i canceled!)
4- Rim refurbishment due to paint chips (OEM color)
5- Smoked tails (work in progress, still can't get a good deal locally on a set)
Was thinking of going with Black Rims but not really a fan of that combo! I get her back on Wednesday night! :D so in the meantime i'm driving my wife's car (old pic, Rims are gunmetal now)
Friday went to Bowling Green, KY to see the Corvettes that dropped into the sink hole. Quite a sight!! Went acrossed the street to watch them manufacturer the C7 Vettes...nice. Drove back home 2 1/2 hours collecting bugs on the front end all the way. Spent all day Saturday detailing using Griot's Garage Random Orbital Polisher. Many hours and aches and pains later I finished at 7 that night. It was nice to ride to church on Sunday in her sparkling bad self! I'm just an old stocker but I love her just the same.
