What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Those the Vossen VVSCV3's Shadow? I've been doing a ton of research on rims/tires for my 2nd gen and right now it's between those and the Lexani R-FOURs (either in silver). Still not sure which will fit best. Debating between 20 and 22 but thinking 22x10.5 with 42 offset (on the Vossens) with 285/40 tires.

Here's one of the side view.

Not Vossens, STR 607. Same look, a lot cheaper. I can't justify paying Vossen prices for a low pressure cast wheel made in China. Vossen is priced equivalent to say Forgestar which is made in USA and rotary forged but with Vossen it's made in China/Taiwan low pressure cast. So basically STR is half the price and I'm not worried about damaging one.

These are 20x10.5" all around. Offsets were +35 in front and +20 in rear, but I have a 25mm spacer on front and 15mm in rear so effective offset is +10 in front and +5 in rear.

And thanks guys. It's a different look than most FX's, I like the oversized wagon look my FX now has. At this height, I'm basically even with most cars height wise. When a stock FX pulls up next to me, it looks lifted. And the new wheels make it look much meaner; everything is a shade of black or gunmetal (all the chrome trim is wrapped brushed black).

Thanks for the info. More to consider. Too bad the STRs aren't available in 22s. I'm trying to avoid going down to 20s but I may end up doing so. We'll see!

Yeah, the lack of 22" is an issue. But several other companies do make wheels that are incredibly similar to the CV3's in 22" sizes, I just can't remember them right now.

This is almost exactly how I pictured mine looking. It's a beauty. Chrome will be black/gun metal. Haven't figured it completely out yet. I love those wheels. Now you got me interested in 20"s again.

Niche Milan
Stance SC 5ive

both have the same look and come in 22"

Yeah, those were the ones. I think Stance may have more offsets that work, IIRC, Niche has a lot of BMW/MB bolt patterns vs. 5x114.3
