Ian, do you have the Courtesy Welcome light feature enabled on yours (where the side mirrors light up and interior lights go on when you approach the car).
On my 09 FX35, I enabled mine, then when I did not start the car for a while, the battery was dead. I disabled it and never had a problem after that.

It's in Valet Mode. Easy fix.

Yeah it's on, but I like the feature. My battery pretty much became inefficient at recharging itself. Might have something to do with having the radio on an hour everyday the last 3 yrs without the engine on. Oh well. The chirp thing is really annoying me.

I love the welcome lighting feature.

I have had 0 issues with my battery even with welcome lighting on after I changed out the battery a year or so ago. The original factory battery was horrible.

I was still running the original battery and it would start even after sitting outside in the cold and snow for 5 weeks. That battery is still in the car when I dealt it.
