What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Any recommended coils for lowering the FX?

Kido, BC, and Megan are your three options for Coilovers.

H&R and Eibach are your two options for lowering springs.

I would really recommend going straight to Coilovers. You can adjust them 1000 ways from sunday, and perfect them to how you like. Besides you wont need to replace your shocks and struts so they would only be about 400 bucks extra (MAX!). If you do end up going with just springs definitely skip the eibachs, there has been problems with the first gens and eibach springs.

As for the coilover options there are people on the boards that run each setup. I haven't heard much (cause most people havnt switched between the three), but it seems to be that BC's kit is the most popular.

Looks really good. Best color IMO (maybe I'm bias lol) I need to wash mine and get someone to remove these type II water spots.

Just finished installing H&R spacers. 25 in the front, 20 in the rear. Amazing difference!

Red -->> Clear Sport == Modded tails.
The clear sport tails is a must have like the second gen aero lip in y opinion!

The rear reflectors on the first gen is secured with a screw that can only be removed by taking the bumper off. If by chance there were no screw there, it still take a bit of prying to get the reflector off the bumper.

Also any idea if the rear diffuser is removable or is it molded to the bumper ?
Not sure which part if the rear bumper you're referring to as the "rear diffuser". If you meant the lower black portion, then it doesn't separates. The rear bumper cover is one piece.

Nice you beat me to it. Im gonna do the same thing, looks good. Do the reflectors come off or did you do it while they were still on?

Did it while they were on. Put them over the whole area, used a heat gun to make it stretchy and made as much of it stick to the reflector as possible and then peeled the top down and pushed all the way up with a card and did the same for every side. Used an exacto knife to cut and then pushed the excess into the crevice with a credit card.

Yesterday I did my struts all around with KYB struts and lowered my FX with H&R springs and today I put on my brand new 22" X 9" RUFF racing rims. Updated my garage with some new pics if anyone wants to check them out and give me some feedback.

Just did the same thing. Took me less than 15 minutes for both sides. Didn't need a heat gun since its nice & warm outisde.

Thanks for the idea. Love it.

Crappy phone pictures.

Also just installed 4300K HID fog lights. They match my headlights pretty good.
