What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

My wheels were so beat up I figured I can't do anything worse to them lol. But def a time consuming projects since I took time to sand insides off the wheels too to remove years of road abuse. The paint applies really well and sprays a very fine mist so looks great when done, clear coat just give that nice shine. Go for it. I think you will be pleased with the result of it over the plasti dip :)
 
tried (and miserably failed!!!!) to install hi-flow cats... bolts were super rusted, and I could not unbolt them... Anybody got a good product in mind for rusted bolts?
 
I had that problem. Used a torch to heat it up and kept spraying WD40 allowing it to sip in through the threads. Then it just came off fine.
 
1. Undercarriage and trim detail (pressure wash, scrub then application of Chemical Guys Bare Bones).
2. Full second coat of Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax (over the NXT 2.0).

Dropping the car off at the shop tomorrow for the sound system upgrade. Can't wait!

Going to try to get some helpful build pics.

I have 15% over my factory hatch....can't see inside the car and already so dark....can't imagine going to 5%.

Well.... 5k as I posted... lol..
but i didnt get it done...i twisted the cap off the back but couldnt reach inside to remove the bulb on either side. Thought I might have to remove the entire front bumper?!

I have the manual on PDF but did not look it up yet. Figure at the temperatures we have had lately, I'll wait for warmer days to monkey around with it.

The bulbs are just some run of the mill eBay $20 specials.

Got a jump. Battery drained after an hour of radio. In the past the car would actually shut off on its own to prevent drain.. Never did today.
