What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

**Update** more pictures that I took today.
Again very happy with the results. Not a hard thing to do just have to make sure they are torque correctly in a 5 star pattern. I used a good
amount of never-seize because it help taking the tires off when I need to. I'll take the wheels off in a few days to make sure everything is tight
on the spacers. Drove around last night after I got it all together and it was smooth as butter.

Nice, so is each wheel basically flush now? What sizes and brand did you run?
I hade the H&R on my old FX but I had to change the factory lugs to extended, which did you use?

edit, just saw in the original post...15 front 25 back. I am thinking of running the same setup :) Maybe even 20 front 30 back?

Fx37s? =)

It's the special edition... ;)

Looks good Jesse.
You have me thinking of putting the 15mm V2 spacers on front and rear with my Enkei GTC 01 20s. They are 8.5 wide and are 40mm offset so that would push them out another 15mm.

Jbaker: Each wheel in my opinion is pretty flush. I know that the Dunlop summer tires I have stick out a little bit more than the Bridgestones because they are wider by like .7" according to tirerack.com
If I were you I would get 17mm front and 27mm rear and it should be perfect for your setup. I used the Ichiba v2's and got them from B2autodesigns (supporter on the forum) http://www.ichibausa.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=716

Wayne: Thanks, since you have 40mm offset and 8.5 I would think you might want to go bigger. I would say 20mm front and 30mm rear to have it flush but I could be wrong. Best thing to do it measure the gap when your wheels are on. I'm pretty sure the 15mm spacer is 5/8" and 25mm spacer is about 1" ( I measured them quick before I put them on )

and yes.... obviously its a FX 35 but I like being a little different so I ordered a G 37S emblem off eBay and swapped the 35 w/ 37 S. Sucks that the 37 has smaller font than 35 but its not that noticeable unless your really close to it.
I wonder if soccer mom's that my unique badge go into the Infiniti Dealer and ask the Salesman if they have any FX 37S's in stock .. mwuhahhahaa :hahaha:

30mm in the rear is definately going to poke out and won't look flush at all. But I think it looks better with a little bit of poke especially in the rear since it looks more aggressive. I'm thinking about buying 30mm in the rear and 20mm up front. I wouldn't do 25mm up front though and 30mm in the rear cause even then the front will even poke out a tad more than the rear with 30mm. So I would go with 30mm rear/ 20mm front.

Well its been raining all day today so when I got off from work I pulled the AWD fuse for the 1st time. :D <<that's how I look right now lol

Out of all the tests I did on tire shine, Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel is the wettest and longest lasting one I've used. It also smells like Crush grape soda.

Got my fx back ftom the body shop today, a lady backed into my parked fx and put a little dent in my door. While it was at the shop i had them install my morimoto 6000k's my 5000k fogs and my led daytime running lights. I also had them take off the fx 35 symbols from the back and touch up a scratch i had. Love the morimotos although they still need about 24hrs to break in. My fx looks better now than its ecer looked. I'm a happy camper

I've used Meg's Endurance Gel and IMHO it's gotta be the best OTC dressing one can purchase. I still have a half a bottle of this since I'm constantly trying new dressings !!

+1, I get the gel or foam tire dressing.

Depending if I have the time I'll use the gel dressing but if I'm in a hurry I'll use the spray on dressings !!

Looks good Elaine, but the tires are too wet or shiny for me.

Thank you Gee !! For most it may not be a preference since it is very shiny but I " like " :smile (2):

^lol wipe them shine off with a paper towel

Naawwww ................. I prefer the shine though I think most don't ???
