Hahaha, nothing new. I got zapped a year ago on I-88 West bound near the I-355 merge curve. Instant on laser... was the first car on the far left lane. He got me doing 85 (I think) on 55 zone.

It looks really good too. You missed out! We were all scared initially, then after the hole was cut and fitted, it was like wow, this awesome, lol.

I don't know which to believe, the speedometer or the passport. The detector always shows about 4mph difference lower than the speedo. This was all both cars, different setups. 22s and 20s on my 35 and now on my 45. Always like 4mph lower on the display.
 
Ya, mine is definitely off then. Even when I use intelligent cruise and set it at 80 it'll say 76 on the Passport. Maybe its the Passport then?

Yeah, it does as soon as you get any alert besides red light camera. You can even set it to where you see the speed at all times.
I have a Passport 9500ix

My friend got caught in a speed trap.
It went from 70 to a 55 mph zone, but the cop was at the 45 mph zone mark and clocked him at 68.
As soon as we pass the 45 zone and hit the 65 mph zone, he turned his lights on and pulled us over, so it was about 5 seconds.
Then the officer explained to us that we were doing 68 in a 45 mph zone, but my friend said "Oh, I thought we were in a 65 mph zone."
He then said "No, as a matter of fact, the 70 mph zone is a little bit ahe--. Oh wait, it's right here." The 70 mph sign was right next to us.. parallel to the passenger door and we were just like "..w.t.f....??"
He still got a ticket for doing 68 in a 55 on our way back to campus.

As a matter of fact, he's really pissed at me for telling him about how you got off with just a warning for a laser alert lol did you have your radar visible?

I have the live smart phone alert. Did u miss the presents over christmas toy thread? ;)

As soon as you get a radar hit it shows your speed.

Haha yea it was visible he looked right at it I'm pretty sure.

He gave a quick peak at the Invidia too :)
My friend had that exact same thing when i wad with him and the higher speed limit sign was right next to us.

hood deflector came in. tried installing at night. instructions gave me a headache so i only installed half of it. Got too cold anyways
 
I know just curious. My first speeding ticket at 16 the cop told me he would had let me go but since he saw I had a radar he wrote me up for the full amount. Cops typically hate seeing detectors.
 
Exactly. Radars aren't illegal where I live, BUT cops just don't like them.
I've been pulled over 4-5 times before I got a radar and never had a ticket.
My friend gets pulled over once with a radar and gets a ticket, ha.
 
Yea i can understand that but would rather leave it up then be rustling around putting it away and making him feel uneasy about what i was doing.

Not that I have dark tints but also rolled both front windows down to avoid any tint questions.
