What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Stu- check where the y pipe and mid pipe connect, when i opened that part up a while ago i found one of the bolts had snapped, even though it was still pretty hard to loosen them. Also those gaskets or w.e sits between flanges if there missing, will make a buzz sound..

Yep, I've had noises from there before. One bolt actually fell completely out. I also rebuilt the gasket there using RTV sealant, and that seemed to be holding up well. I'm currently doing the OEM rear sway, so hopefully after that I'll get all 4 tires off the ground and do the exhaust check.
 
Got the sway bar on. Tightened up all the exhaust bolts, and it sounds a lot better now. I forgot what it is like to only hear exhaust sound coming from the rear. :wink (2):

Sway feels pretty cool. Rear feels a lot tighter now. Seems like the front is almost lighter feeling now, maybe. It was raining though so I couldn't really tell, but I went to an open parking lot and threw it around a bit and it felt nice.
 
Haha, it's a local high school, and it's their stadium parking they always leave unlocked for some reason. Has two entrances too, so you can in one and out the other. It's in a neighborhood though so I worry about tracking attention. I think that's where I'll go to make my either burnout or drifting vid before the new rear tires go on.

How was that task? I think I need a rear on the g.

I just did a front wheel bearing on my bros maxima, spindle came off in an hour but drove around the city looking for someone who was going g to press in my new bearing took 2 hours.
 
It snowed here FINALLY. Took my mom to the grocery store and decided to introduce her to alittle fun in the empty parking lot
. Drifting! LOL
