Today, i took her out to enjoy the sun. Gave her a wash, clayed, polish, wax, tire shine, wheel cleaner, and never the less had a lil fun driving around like i stole it.

I dropped my fx off at the bodyshop

to get a new bumper, fender trim, fog lights etc fixed (accident a while back)

already ready to have it back

Took the Eibach springs off today.
Put the OEM springs back on and got it aligned.

Boy the OEMs are much softer riding, but the FX does not handle as well with OEMs. Also it looked so much better dropped.

Seriously.
1st gen on OEMs is like piloting a boat. Sounds like your ride is similar.

I spent the day cleaning up the FX. I gave it a coat of Zaino Z2 Sealant, cleaned up all door jams, vacuumed her. Checked tire pressures, fluids etc. Getting her ready for our 5-6 week trip. Still have to clean the windows inside.
Now I'm washing all my MF towels so I will have a bunch to take with me on the trip.

I washed the FX and cleaned the interior. It was 7pm when I started clay barring and realized I would still need to clay bar the whole car, cleaner wax, polish wax, tech wax, then sealant....ugh so I just clayed the hood and stopped cause I knew I was over my head......I guess I'll need to do it another day....I just hate having to start all over....getting it all clean before I can start the process again!

It's going to rain overnight so the car will get dirty, but hopefully I won't wake up too late so I can wipe it down really quick for the meet tomorrow morning.....I really wish I had time to get it waxed for the meet after winter
