I recently got a ticket for expired plates by parking enforcement (unregistered or abandoned) :rolleyes:

Better than the cops catchin you ridin dirty though at $110 bucks for expired plates
 
just removed the roof crossbars.
dealer didn't leave the clip/screw to cover the holes on the aluminum rails, just found the instructions manual and the torx screw for the crossbars:frown:
but looks much cleaner and slick:tup:

^^ I did the same this past weekend, but put them back on once I realized the screws don't seal the holes properly and I was worried about water getting in and causing a problem long term. Looks like the dealer didn't leave me the clips either..

Did you just leave it open?
 
i just took them off tonight.
am going to the dealer to get the license plates, will see if i can get from the sales advisor
the holes ugly though

with the plain orange info screen. I saw the whole Nav. unit on sale on ebay. Would buying that and installing that work on my truck or is there more to it than I'm thinking?

Stopped by to look and see if the body shop was making progress. Antennae is off, hole is filled, back bumper is off. Not used to seeing my ride in pieces......
 
Not so much mounting as it is "straight paint". Going to have them airbrush two huge Turbos across the hood with a panther and a naked chick hanging next to them. Going to go with a full-on spanish "conquistador" motif. My wife is going to love it......

^^ Looks good.. Marek's piece? Make sure you put some silicone between the light and housing or you might get some wind noise?

Thankfully, not these, only the older versions. It was actually wind noise from not having the foam weather seal around the edge of the housing.

I have a set waiting to be installed as well. Mine came painted=)
