What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Hey guys I didn't want to create a new thread for a quick question. Is there any size difference between a gas 3.7 QX70 and a diesel QX70? The reason im asking is because there is a front splitter available but one is cheaper and says for diesel only while the other is more expensive and says for gas. I didn't think there was any difference in the front (or anywhere) for the size. Thanks in advance!

Custom dual 2.5” exhaust with a magnaflow resonated x pipe and burnt quad tips

Looks dope, I have those same burnt tips sitting at home but can't decide on what to go with, I really want a very deeper/louder VQ sound- any rasp? Do you still hear the VQ growl?

Got her cleaned up for a road trip back home!!

Over the last week I've given it a full detail. Foam bath, windows in/out, leather cleaner/conditioner, rubber trim conditioner, vacuum, WeatherTech mats washed, engine bay washed, tires dressed, etc. I've been using Sonax products lately and I'm very happy with them. The thing is in perfect condition and looks brand new, this really rekindles the love for it.
I also cleaned the K&N air filters, which I do every 10K (not that dirty, but it's so easy). I ran stock paper filters for a day while the K&Ns dried out, and there wasn't much of difference in feel, but the K&Ns had a slightly more coarser/louder induction sound, which I like (and the stocks were new!). I've held off on the silicone elbow since some say it actually mutes the intake a little.
And finally I installed a Cusco front strut tower bar (sold for the G37 but it fit perfectly!). Similarly, a mild improvement with front end chassis rigidity commensurate with the price and ease of installation.
All 3.7 owners should at least get these parts, 30 minutes while drinking a beer and $225 total.

Got tired of my Invidia exhaust...
Then I got tired of my custom 2.5inch X-pipe catback( which was louder than my FBO catless / muffler only R35)...
So I decided to custom fit my OEM R35 catback using 3” piping and a 3” Vibrant resonator to mate to any OEM or OEM replacement HR/VHR y-pipe.

Even with a OEM VHR ypipe(temporary), I am pleased with the sound.

I’ve had this exact setup on MULTIPLE vq cars and it sounds phenomenal. Mines a v8 but you’ll still love it

Started at the base model QX with all the chrome accents and over the last few weeks went to the premium/sport look. Let me know what you think.
