What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

I like the way it looks with the wind fairing.

Next items on the list (timing between now and December)
- do a Transmission fluid flush with Nissan approved transmission fluid.
- replace of Transfer case fluid with approved Nissan fluid.
- Power wash engine bay.
- install oil catch can(s), still need to locate PCV valve(s)
- Create customized CAI heat shield.
- Front windows tint.
- install iPod connector/ bluetooth connector for iPhone.
- Have customized exhaust for better flow with 3” pipes from cats to muffler (getting rid of constrictive Y-pipe). Re-use of Flowmaster 40 series muffler.

Sounds like you've given it a lot of thought , if you're going to tint windshield, you ought to look into ceramic tint. Check it out, You'll be impressed.
 
Thanks for the advice. I was not thinking in tinting the windshield, but now that you mention it, it will be added to my to do list ;)

Re-read your post, front windows, ok, ceramic is still best for all you can do, I'd never had a tinted windshield before, now my wife does in her Tundra, and her mom's Kia too!

Visually you can't even tell for the windshield, sides can go as dark as you want, the temperature differential is amazing!

No, I don't sell tint.:cool:
 
I have a chip in my windshield, so not gonna tint this one... But once I get it replaced, definitely tinting it... The heat reduction from the rest of my tints (high quality ceramic) is crazy and I keep wishing my windshield had that protection too... 3M makes a good one that is only a 5% tint so it's barely noticeable, but it reflects about 90% of the heat...
 
My high tone horn died on me and the low tone started to fade out. I replaced the horns with the universal Wolo 320-2T Maxi Sound. Huge difference, great improvement over OEM sound.

^ Awesome. I want that setup so bad !!!

Today I rolled over 22,222 miles in the QX70S on the way to giving it a nice hand wash/detail (I live in a condo so cannot do it at home).
