What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Took the grille and vents off trying to vinyl wrap them. Boy it's not as easy as I thought to wrap them. Taking those things off was so easy just had to be careful

I took the wrap off mine & just painted them gloss black. Plus the wheels aswell.

did you notice any improvement on adding the intakes? i want to do this also but everyone say's it sucks in hot air

Nothing major regarding "improvement". But it does sound nice in DS mode when the gears are up there. Didn't see gas mileage difference, but then again I have been driving in DS mode way more often. Lol

Even though its much more harsh, driving in DS is my favorite. One of these days I'll get around to the paddle install so I can down shift without going into M.

Replaced my washer nozzles. I have cleaned the damn things dozens of times to only have them spray about 2" or way off right/ left. Cost $45, hope they hold up.

Slowly upgrading needed items on my FX45.
- Installed universal K&N cone filter / short ram intake.
- Replaced front crash sensor. My airbag light is gone!!!
- Bought second key fob. Need to have key cut and programmed, need suggestions please.
- Last week I installed universal roof rack cross bars and Inno wind fairing and load it up with 2 the kayaks. We did a 7 mile kayak trip to Turnip Rock (Port Austin, MI)
I like the way it looks with the wind fairing.

Next items on the list (timing between now and December)
- do a Transmission fluid flush with Nissan approved transmission fluid.
- replace of Transfer case fluid with approved Nissan fluid.
- Power wash engine bay.
- install oil catch can(s), still need to locate PCV valve(s)
- Create customized CAI heat shield.
- Front windows tint.
- install iPod connector/ bluetooth connector for iPhone.
- Have customized exhaust for better flow with 3” pipes from cats to muffler (getting rid of constrictive Y-pipe). Re-use of Flowmaster 40 series muffler.
