What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

did a full exterior detail. wash, ironx, clay, paint correction(oxidation and swirl removal- using meguiars 105/101), wax(collinite 845). Total time- approx. 10 hours

Btw, the belt fit over with no issues with the tensioner all the way loose. It was close, but I didn't have to force it on this time.

I didn't experience any challenges with my belt install on mine. The main belt fits snugly with a little bit or allowance enough to slip it in before I applied the tensions.

Changed the plugs last week. Normally, someone would be satisfied after completing a spark plug change... But...

Looks like I need a pair of valve covers lol
Left to right: 1,3,5/2,4,6.. Thought the passenger side cover would be good, then I get slapped with plug #6 lol

finally finished installing Kido coilovers on the FX... now just need to drive around and adjust as necessary... Any one know if its possible to adjust hard/soft setting in the rear once the coilovers are on the car already? Maybe behind rear seat or something?

The rear dampening cannot be adjusted once it is installed onto car. The knob is seating inside a cup that you cannot access other then remove the two 12 mm nuts and slide the shock down to access the adjusting knob.

Can you adjust BCs without removing from the car?? I think I remember reading somewhere Andy that you had to drill a hole in the trunk somewhere
and then you can reach the knob?

On BC's, the rear adjuster is on the side of the shock so you can adjust without removing from the car. You may have to remove wheels, but if you have wheels with an open spoke design, you can just reach through the spokes.

For the G/Z, I believe BC requires an extender and going through the trunk.

Thanks Andy, seems like a bad design... oh well, I was planning to adjust height anyway, so i guess 4 12mm nuts should not be too bad...

Just out of curiosity, what settings are you guys using? I set my fronts all the way to hard, and I like it...

They sells extension, but you have to drill a 3/4" in the cup so it can come through to the edge of the rear seat back. I set mine 3/4 (forgot how many clicks) of the way to the hard settings.
