What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

That is pretty sweet. with installing that, did you remove the light? you said you did not have to remove the door panel to do this. was it simple to get to power?

Yeah the light just pops out of the door with a pry tool, then just tapped into the wires that go to the light & boom it's done.

I have had that kit sitting in the corner of my room for about 3 months. Will install soon.

I would however recommend pulling off the door panel, just so you don't clip any of the hinge mechanism for the cubby hole, or any of the wires in the door.

Pulling off the door panel on the FX is a joke, its three screws and a little bit of prying...

I'll try wrap the hood....

Def post pics, was thinking about that when wrapped my roof, but was afraid I would cross the line with too much CF. And when I PSed it, I couldn't help but get bothered by the way our hood cuts off above the grille. With that said, def looking forward to seeing yours :)

Yes, that is one part that bothers me the most, just above the grille. And it sucks that unlike solid colors, you can see stretching on CF material, and it looks ugly (when I messed up couple places on interior, it just turned into plain black). what made me feel a little bit better was how the shifter hole came out on the interior (it is such a unique shape) - and since the CF will go inside the hood, I hope it won't show stretches on the outside. I wanted to do the roof (and I will in the future), but it would take a lot of time to disassemble my aftermarket roof racks and then OEM ones (and I haul bikes quite often, as it is super nice down here in Houston now). So i figured, hood would be the next easiest thing. One question I had, do you use anything special on your roof (like a conditioner of sorts for CF) when you wash or when you polish?
