What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Thanks and yes, I rewrapped the door and quarter on my 335 myself. I can wrap a whole car, but had a shop do it because it was a surprise so I couldn't work on it. In a few months, I will wrap the FX. Right now I'm slowly blacking out the chrome and trim with brushed black vinyl.

It's honestly not hard, just takes a little time. And now with the textured vinyls like cf and brushed you have to be careful when stretching them to keep the pattern intact. Before I got a real job, I owned a shop and we did a lot of vehicle graphics. Back then, the vinyls were really hard to work with. Now they're so good that anyone can do a good job, its amazing.

Shadow, you sure make the wrapping part easy. Door and quarter panel done solely by you?

I replaced my fog/driving light with 100watt yellow bulbs heavy gauge plug&play wire harness, replaced the fog light bezels with the chromes ones and got her washed looking good.:good:

Not afraid of melting the fog light housing?

Looks really good, glad you did. I see wrapped the stereo surround, but did you also wrap the dash too?

Thanks, I am pretty pleased with the outcome. In person it looks a lot like the OEM Aluminum, only black. Ha, yeah I just noticed that it kind of does look like I wrapped the stereo and the dash, but I didn't. I wrapped only the centre console and area around the clock. My garage is just very dark and I only had my phone. I intend to get some better pictures later on with an actual camera.

repositioned my hfc's for better clearance. still seems to knock somewhere. Then found some rad fluid by the engine. blah. another repair project this weekend.

Today I had my Invidia exhaust mounted and I love it!!! No rasp at all and I have HFC's. I have the titanium rolled tips, its awesome! Its dark out now but I will post up pics very soon.
