If you make 4 cuts close together using a handsaw you cut them out with one slice using a wood chisel. Far less mess.

Andrew, your 2nd keyfob is the one with colors and such right?

No the second one is the same that you have. So I can have the thin one on my keychain if I want. The colored display is another like $200? The guy said everything is the exact same with the remotes except one is color and has a picture of the car. The functionality doesn't change. I believe he said you can get the color remote for this unit if you want.

I also got the invisible shield for my remote with the display.

It took about an hour total for taping, sanding, and painting. I love it. Should have done this mod a long time ago

Looking good:good:, You know that you need to remove those trim pieces and emblem, before the wrap as well, right?

The emblems are glued on.. just need a heat gun/blow dryer and dental floss/fishing line.
Any goo left? Use goo-gone.

Yep, what gold said. To remove the trim pieces you need to take the inside decorative trunk cover off and unscrew the nuts.

Thanks. Had some unexpected expenses so wrap will be a month or two away hopefully

got my heat gun. Trim removal tools. Sander to smooth trim down to paint prior to wrap Exacto knives. A buddy lined up to help some.

That sucks, do you have a temperature controlled garage to do the wrap ? Ideal wrap conditions are low humidity and about 65-75 degrees in clean environment. Plus the vehicle must stay at least 12 hours after a wrap in the same temperature controlled space(for wrap to adhere properly).
