Soon, I have been catching up on my work around here. Today I am installing shutters on two of the front windows, I'm almost done.
The problem is I keep coming in the house for a work break and checking this site, I'm addicted.
Friday morning I get my boat out of storage and I'll spend a couple of days getting it ready for boatin and fishin.

It's an area that a lot of sports cars go and drive streets in a lap very very fast, but it's a 35mph speed limit. go figure. Lots of turns and nice scenery.

wow you are only at 39k miles! Add 20k and you are where I am at! For some reason I thought you had a lot more miles considering all the traveling you do!
 
Here's a quick UPDATE. Going on the entrance ramp on the hwy, hear small, sharp clanks in the right rear... look back at the mirror and don't see anything I ran over. Then I hear the rhythmic sound of a protruding nail in the tire... Love changing a tire in 100+ degree weather.

My wallet got lighter.. bought a y pipe, and g35 extensions.. last pieces i need to install my nismos
 
megan y. i think imma put my car out of commission and tackle it myself lol. headers is giving me nightmares!

i will attempt! hopefully it works out lol. probally gonna do it in october tho since thats when im free to put the fx down for a week. or 2 lol

You're crazy. There's no way I would be able to wait until October to put on an exhaust. I left early last week from work to get mine installed, lol. :turtle:
 
depends how much a shop charges to put it in. if <600 buxs ill let them do it + modding the nismo. i doubt it thats cheap lol. blah headaches!!!

ill ned headers done also which is big buxs and to cut and weld tips.

i need a better socket set. i got a crappy 3/8 set which i broke the ratchet lol

You'll only need a few sockets. Box wrenches, socket extensions, swivel extensions, and an iron will are most important. If you're going to buy another ratchet wrench, make it 1/2" and get a 1/2" to 3/8" adapter. :thumbup:

Also, cutting and welding the tips will take any exhaust guy worth his salt 15min. It shouldn't be much $ at all. You can do everything at home and drive it (with the shorty tips) to the shop for the tip extension. You'll probably save $500 in labor alone that way.

do they need to remove the muffler to weld the tips? just thinking regarding wasting gaskets
