What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

What did you do to your FX today?

I tried to change my parking lights to led lights and the bulbs fit but don't seem to work. I guess it's not a good connection. However I'm really pissed bc one of the bulbs got loose when I was trying to put it on and it fell inside the headlight. I'm so pissed bc I have to drive around with thr bulb rolling around inside the headlight. I'm so pissed right now bc I had to come to work and could not try to get the bulb out.

Did you check polarity -- i.e. switch the bulb's side. All my LED's only work one way. I put it in, then turn it on -- if it doesn't light up, I take it out and flip it. Then it turns on.

I personally found no use in change parking or turning lights to LED's, only my DTRL. Reverse is another LED that doesn't work so well (for me), they're not bright so I used OEM bulbs.

Spent about 4 hours washing, sealing, and waxing for the meet tomorrow. Also gave some love to the exhaust can and tips. Thank god it was cloudy so it was only about 90 degrees out. Last did this about 6 months ago, so it seemed like a good time for it again.

Haha, I was too tired to even take an iPhone pic. I'll snap one in a bit though, just have to remove the plastic protector that I left on, since it's over the camera. Plus I should have lots of pics from the meet tomorrow.

I put on a new upper and lower grill a couple days ago. Polished it a bit this morning before heading to work and shopped ebay for a new emblem.

Just clean my K&N filter and got bored and decided to spray paint the chrome license plate frame in the front, matte black. Didn't want any chrome in the front at all.

Takes decent pics. I couldn't really hold it steady since I also had to hold the plastic cover back.

Hah! I think a rough weather camera is in order.....I used our studio camera which is a Mamiya body and a Phase one P30 back (not so good for portable work) it got pretty soaked. Then when the photographer hooked it up it wouldn't sync with the strobes and he was pissed. Turned out to be the sync cord.....lucky for me =)

Just painted my grill black and cleaned the engine bay. Grill came out sweet pics to come later. Ocal thanks for the help

Installed the WR oil catch can but the hoses they sent with it collapse onto themselves due to the suction. So removed them and installed the oem one till I get better hoses from autozone.
