What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

Added the new 22" Versante's 219 black with metallic with silver lip.

Replace a burned out bulb on passenger side fog light. Also, took off neon lights.

Appreciate, I'm not a fan of having black rims. Still I think after a year of looking at rims I made a good decision they blend in very well with the luxury sport look of the FX.

My FX is dirty. Think I'm gonna wash it today.

You said it bro. I sold my 2nd gen G35X and got the FX because it is such a great long distance driver.

My wife and I just returned yesterday, we put on 6,066 kms in the last two weeks. One day we put on just under 900 kms.

I left the FX in a Lowes parking lot, in direct sunlight, for 3 hrs today while shopping. When I came out to leave my doors would not unlock with the key fob. I had to unlock the drivers door manually and open the passenger door physically from the inside. I immediately tried the button on the armrest and it just made a "thump" sound but would not move the lock mechanism. I tried it several more times and eventually it started to work on the rear doors but not the fronts. After returning to my job site with the AC on for a while, the passenger door would operate normally but the drivers lock was still sticky and would only lock but not unlock. I parked it in the shade and when I left to go home today, all was well. Anyone else had this experience? My best guess is that something expanded from the heat and made the lock stick??? It was hot today relatively speaking but I live in Oregon for crying out loud. It was probably not even 100 degrees in the sun... :dontknow:

Bought one 1.5" wheel spacer (38.1 mm!!) so I can get my dang spare to clear my big brake kit, just in case!

"5-4 to 5-4" adapter from the local tire shop with a 3 1/16" (~77.8 mm) hub, so not hub centric, but just for emergencies.

Strange - but I live in TX and we hit 100 on a daily basis for a good portion of the year - never any heat related problems for me. Almost sounds like a power problem - weak battery or something maybe?

Gotta learn how to use the rain to our advantage. It's starting to sprinkle here, so the FX is waiting in the driveway for a wash and wax.
