yeah i didn't even realize. haha. maybe when i'm up there tomorow for the pulley they can give ame a tune :) or maybe i shoudl wait till i have my plenum and throttle body spacers on :embarrassed:
 
do you guys think i should ge a tune while i'm up there tm (if i can), or shoudl i wait untill after i get more of my mods? (i'm gonna have them isntall them probably anyways)
 
If you want to save some cash, Wait until you're done with your mods. More than likely they have a first time charge for the tune, and a secondary, lesser charge, for subsequent visits.

but to tell you the truth, i was going to (try and) stop with mods after i get the plenum spacer. i can live for a while with... the stillen intake w/ztube, CNR crank pulley, throttle body spacer, and plenum spacer.

plus, i'm running out of hobby funds :err:

so i'm probably gonan get the spacers, then get a tune and then chill with performance for the whole summer (thats the plan)

does this sound like a good plan? or should i just wait
 
id wait until you get some mods that play with your A/F till you need at tune...none of that stuff really needs a tune except for maybe the TBS. if you get around to a full exhaust, headers, HFCs/test pipes, etc. then a tune would be reasonable.

vinnyten does not have a 4wdyno... when I spoke to them about a tt install they said they could reach out to an associate & get access to one, but I don't know if they would go through that for just a tune??

if you read this in time, ask questions man... see how receptive they are to tuning when they've done none of the actual mods themselves..
 
whatevs, i havent bouht it yet. so ill see which of thier friends has one :) or they can just do a non dyno one with the computer? idk haha.

yeah man, nothing to be embarrased about, many wish they coulda had it that good... at 17 my first car cost me $75, bought it myself... was nothing like an fx for sure :biggrin:

not to sound bratty. but you mean a $47,000 car right? cuz that was the sticker on mine....just to be straight.

i pay for everything except gas and expensive things that break (i.e brakes, etc)
otherwise i'm on my own.

so dont think im some snotty rich kid trying to get into the tuner scene or anything. its just what im into now and stuff. idont know.
sorry if im sounding bratty and bragging or whatever i didnt mean to. i just hate when ppl r like "whats the difference, you can afford it" and shit.
i went to the car wash today, and i was short a dollar cuz i had just spent the day at VTR, and te guy was like..."you can affor dthat car but you can't pay to wash it?" i was gonna smack his face.

no know that its not worth that anymore, it is worth around $32,500 (estimate from dealer a while back) i was just saying that was the sticker :rofl:

we're cool though. no beef here! or chicken for that matter...
