don't know what you mean... I have the leds around the projector, but there inside the shroud & you just see the relection of them in the projector...

you talking about angel eyes?

it's pretty groovy down there, friggin wall to wall groovy carpet & dark dark wood paneling & a bunch of medieval looking trim.... yeah, it's pretty bad down there... even the pool table has some medieval kinda thing going on, funky, one of those knight armor suits would fit the decor just perfectly as it is now...
& Dont forget the cool lasers!

Yeah, back on your first post when you were talking about the look of the Leds inside the projector housing. Will that give an angel eye/halo affect. I guess Im a little confused by that picture, looks like angel eyes, but different construction of course, built in vice stick on.

I'm not a big fan of the angel eyes, mine look different, hard to fully explain, but different.... I'll try to get a few shots of what mine look like from a distance..., not really like angel eyes...

update, ok I finished my projector shielding completely, there all built out of shiny reflective sheet alumium. I have them all cut out & ready for assembly. I made them adjustable but not end user adjustable, so I can calibrate each one to the right level & then lock them in place before I seal them up. since these are hand fitted & assembled I can't get them precise enough that they will all just be perfectly calibrated as there assembled, so each does need to be calibrated before there sealed up. I was trying to come up with a way to have them end user adjustable but it would complicate this way to much, I'm already way beyond where I wanted to be with these, not going to be able to make them end user adjustable

I have tested them with hid's burning for many hours with no adverse affects, the heat shielding does it's job fine. of course you don't have to use HID's in these inner projectors but it would be a shame not too at this point, they work very nice. hid's don't draw a lot of power except on the intial startup, so powering another set is not a big issue, I run my 2 sets off the single power supply to the oe ballast with no problems

my back has been out for the past 2 1/2 weeks, I've been in pain off & on & things have been very slow going. I hurt it more when I decided to throw my interior in too but I had no choice, I couldn't refuse the interior when I got it & i couldn't leave it in my basement at home without hearing my wife about it so I had to, but no other projects of mine will get done before I finish these lights for everyone & it's closer now.

soon helped me last week with the cutting of the shields, first chance I get I'm going to calibrate doc's lights & then finish them & get them out to him, I'll have some completed shots then. at that point when there all ready for there final finish & assembly I'll then be looking to finalize everyones options & then take deposits & finalize who wants what & who doesn't. no one is obligated to anything at this point so no one should feel like they have to take these, I know it's been a while & if anyone has had a change of heart no problem up until deposits are required. I know there is one substitution of white hair taking someone elses place on the list & I think one other has mentioned to me that they may need to drop out of this buy, I'll finalize the list as I get to that point & I'm not looking to open up any spots on the list till I have everyones accounted for...

I'm sorry these have taken much longer than I anticipated, but when I do get to the point of taking deposits will be when there ready to paint/assemble & ship, I don't want to be holding anyones money & then make them wait & wait, which is why I haven't taken any $$$ from anyone yet  there getting there, slowly but surely...

ha, that's my basement, was like that when I bought the house... the toilet paper is on the door to the bathroom there in that hallway... only thing we do in the basement so far is laundry, it's pretty groovy down there, friggin wall to wall groovy carpet & dark dark wood paneling & a bunch of medieval looking trim.... yeah, it's pretty bad down there... even the pool table has some medieval kinda thing going on, funky, one of those knight armor suits would fit the decor just perfectly as it is now...

I know, I know, but I'm working my way to redoing it, already did the first floor rental apt over complete & finishing redoing my upstairs complete, redid all the siding & windows... almost done, just changing all the upstairs doors out from hollow to solid paneled doors, then.... the basement, can't wait to gut it

I bet turbo has HID's lighting in his house=)

I was actually thinking of using FX head lights to light up my backyard.... is that nerdy?

Sweet.. Thanks for the update.. No rush at all sir..Take your time so we can get a outstanding product!!

Great job as alway john!

I love the dual eyeball look, been browsing some older pictures & found a few from when I was playing with them in my car, I have none with completed bezels though... soon I'll have some actual shots of a complete set with leds too from far away, but the twin eyeball look is so nice:

my beams are controlled & focused, so they will never look too bright or blinding to a cop... if your lights are much brighter at eye level than the average car then they will screw with you. I'd expect more chance of a cop questioning an average hid fog light conversion than this, the light output is double where it needs to be, but no more were it shouldn't be than it was before... I plan to adjust these inner aux projectors to the lower level of the headlight adjusted unless requested otherwise. this way if a cop or inspection station questioned anything, once you show them that they are both on at it's lowest level, then, you can raise it from the dash, then, activate high beam with the bi xenon opening up & really throwing light, they'd have to be morons to give you a ticket or a hassle. if you do get a ticket your on your own though, mod at your own risk here  I don't worry about it at all honestly, they look fine & normal & proper in person & no one should give you a hassle...
