ha, will, a second batch.. let me see if I live through this first batch  working on 20+ light assy's at the same time is pretty hairy, I think after this batch I may just do on a one by one basis or a batch of just a few maybe... I also need some time to do some mods on my fx, I've put all new projects on hold til I complete these, kinda torturing & punishing myself at the same time to get these done... I even made up my mind that I won't even finish my own lights till I get these done for everyone else or at least finish them at the same time with the others... I do want them done but don't want to settle for mediocre just to get them out either...

few weeks ago my dash bezel developed a crack & my pc crashed, so that I had no choice I had to start fixing that otherwise I have a gaping hole in my dash, so that's been cutting into my time, also my wheels have been cutting into my time, but no new projects till this is done. I also have to get my rotoras back on my fx too but that's shop time so shouldn't cut into headlight time much, I even burried my new motor & tranny & won't even touch it till these are done, talk about punishment

bert, your funny  but I gave doc my word, so that just can't happen no matter how much money you throw at me, sorry bro :tongue::wink::laugh:

Thank you for all the time you spend on these lights.

I can't wait to see your project on swapping the DE to the HR motors.

Will we need to confirm the headlight options with you again? Since I believe there are some more options such as tinting and vinyl side mark, etc.

Thanks Turbo. :.smile:

I think tinting was an option that I originally offered from the beginning, the vinyl overlay on the sides & the aluminum mesh overlays & smoked amber are stuff that I still need to show pictures of for people to make a choice there. I wanted to play with casting my own clear side reflectors but haven't had much time to play there really... my intentions are to be able to show you the different finish options & also show a final headlight with the leds & all so you can make a final decision, so yeah, even though choices have been made your not locked to anything till we get to that final point, finalize everyones choices & get deposits for the specific config of each, at that point your choice wil be locked but everyone at this point still has the option of changing there minds on the details... we are pretty close now at this point, I know I've said that before, but were even closer now  hopefully have some good pictures by the weekend...

guess that's true as well... send a new fx50s my way & watch how quick I tell doc to go screw himself:tongue::rofl: nah bro, just kidding... honestly my word is worth more to me than you'd be willing to throw my way for this... wouldn't go back on my word even for a few grand honestly... docs set is the first to see the left coast, first set to see any coast... think his'll be in his fx even before mine are in my own car...

HA HA>.. Ok I get it...

I was trying to draw him out and it seems he is working is ass off today..

Again.... great progress and I know Pierce will love the Blue tint on his lights..

Great Job..

Yup John's my man! Unlike you Berto a man's word id his bond, hahaha, jk
And btw, stop bothering John with your cumbersome responses and insulting bribes :rolleyes::laugh:

ok, so back on topic:tongue:, I think the black & chrome look great with the blue tint... the black cuts down the blue look quite a bit over the all chrome behind the blue tint, it kinda makes the headlight look more smoked, but then the chrome rings kinda jump out at you, they still kinda have that blue chrome look. this looks much less like a very blue tint overall. it also kinda makes the headlight look a bit darker than the blue with just chrome all around... I def like the all chrome behind the tint, but this also looks very nice. all chrome though has the advantage of being very easy to match a set of tails with the same blue tint on the outsides of those though..

Looks good John. I like it and yes the black makes the blue look lighter too. But can you get some side by side pictures of these and the all chrome inside as well. And if possible some shots outside in natural light. Thanks John.

daylight pictures. I thought I had a pair of chrome bezels at my shop so I didn't bring them, turns out I had a set of sports instead, so this is factory darker chrome vs black painted... I'll try to get a side by side of reg chrome vs black & chrome tommorow. either looks good, I think the chrome just looks clearer & better definition of the details, especially in lower light situations... the painted kinda look more like there smoked & they show less crystal clear looking, you see less clear reflections too... I don't think it really needs or benifits from the black paint with the blue tint, maybe the smoke chrome in this case? I think that looks best to me so far in person...

passengers side is sport chrome, drivers siode is paint & chrome...
