damn, these headlights just turned into a big fat fail for me so far... first was the problem with trying to maintain a perfect chrome finish around the rings, where only 2 sets out of the 7 came out perfect enough to maintain the chrome rings, second was the clear corners, which I have since developed a solution for with the whole chili cooker/black hole vortex creating chili pot sucker contraption, but even after the molds are made & the vacuum/inject part is ready they still wind up taking me several hours to produce each one between mold prep, chemical mix, vacuum, inject & then the second half which is de-mold, cut down, de-flash etc...& on top of that I'm so far winding up with a little better than a 50/50 success rate there, they don't all come out perfect each time & there brittle so they crack easily ... that means an unbelievable 5-6 hours on average for each good set of clear corners... so far there are only 4 sets of the clear corners in existence & I just haven't had the time available lately to spend the hours & hours in the garage that it takes to make more of them...
the last problem I'm having with these is the leds themselves... when the headlight is all reassembled & the bezel is compressed closer to the projectors as the lense is sealed to the headlight, the reflection of the leds changes & they don't look as good as they do in the pictures I've shown of before assy... I've tried many different mounting & aiming solutions with no sucess... combine this with the fact that the longevity of the leds just sucks because of the heat of the hids, the end result is just that the leds suck, I can't put it any more bluntly than that, they suck & I'd rather not even do the leds at this point. I have a whole bunch of these led strips but at this point there garbage to me & I can't put any more time & effort into making them something there not, they just suck period.I'd rather throw them in the garbage than put them in my headlights after really seeing how much they just suck...
I do plan on getting back to this soon & finishing what I have here, but not looking to add anything to the list, that's for sure... if I ever get to the point of doing more then I'll let you know,but not any time soon... I have a few others that I'm also building for besides what's listed here too...
I so wanted to finish these all up before diving into my twin turbo motor swap but it just didn't work out like that, & now I'm kinda in the hole with that thing too & honestly it's been taking priority over any spare time I've had lately... just not enough hours in the day, plus I've been very busy at the shop this summer too, so spare time has been very scarce... I know guys want these & believe me I've put a ton of resources & time into trying to just get them done already, but the bottom line is if there not done & ready & good enough for me then there just not... I'm sorry, wish I could just make them done & over with, but still hasn't happened yet... hopefully soon...

hey darren, sorry this just took forever & you not needing them any more is fine, I already have a whole list of other guys who want in on these when ever I do get them done, so really no problem at all...
