Yeah that
I ordered the lens and those spacers just in case I need them since I don't know if their necessary
They are needed, I used mine on my 2nd gen and I'm pretty sure you need them on the 1st generation as well.

Does anyone have a website where they check what maintenance service they should do according to schedule?
I've been using my local dealer (southwestinfiniti.com), but I've passed 240,000 and my model caps out at 240,000 miles.
Lol, so I have no idea what to do next.
Im gonna be replacing my front passenger side cv joint on my 2003 fx35 with AWD does anyone have a DIY for it or any input on how to do it. I have an idea but want to make sure, Thanks in advance!

Never mind I found the write up. Thanks anyhow.
Recently my trunk doesn't open as easily (non-motorized). I would be able to open it and the rest would open all the way up, but seems like over time it doesn't do it itself as much anymore.
I'm pretty sure I've caused this over time. I tried to put some lithium greese on them (in red in the photo) and it seems like it helped just barely. Washing my car so often back in the day I may have wiped down also the area I'm sure because before the lithium grease it was dry as a bone just dirty, but as I mention new lithium grease after cleaning the dirt off hasn't really helped much.
Any other ideas on what I can try and do? I didn't want to try wd-40 without asking on the forum first.

Jonas, I will try the silicone lube today, I will let you know if it helps.$167 + $157 + ship= ~ $350

Not that big of a deal to replace, just thought there would be an easy way to get them sliding easy again. I'll have to try Wayne's suggestion.
Does anyone think WD40 would be a bad idea? I've never seen anything make hinges swing open like crazy forever after putting some wd40 on it.
