The Random Question Thread

Who has completely gotten rid of cable? I am semi intrigued my only concern is sports (mainly local teams) is there a way? Was thinking netflix and some way to watch sports any ideas?

I cut my cable about a year or so ago. It hurts when it comes to sports but you can still catch a few games on sundays if you have an over the air antenna like I do. Regular season basketball is a problem. But you should be all set for playoff games.

I don't miss regular tv shows at all. There are a myriad of options for those.

Hey I was wondering could I just take of the nut off of the tpms sensor without any problems while I paint them?

Yea regular season hockey and baseball would be an issue that couldn't go without. I'm sure you could steam it w mlb and NHL pass stuff but by then plus internet won't be worth it

You mean the silver/aluminum sleeve? If so. I suspect you may have a problem to tighten it back down since you can't hold the inside so that you can tighten down the sleeve from on outside. Also, once you loosen the sleeve, you have to some how hold the sensor stem so that it will not slip/fall into the tire.

Ya I was thinking about the same thing and then thought maybe the air pressure would hold it in place....i don't know I might just plastidip the sleeves to avoid any kind of problems

The air will escape once you loosen the sleeve. No air after awhile. Plastidip or mask the wheel up nicely and rattle can it.

Thanks Andy! I'm already in progress

B2893 says tilt & telescope motor circuit high. Is your steering wheel able to adjust up and down and all that?
P0430 is the second O2 sensor on the drivers side cat, purely an emissions thing and won't cause harm. You have HFC's or something?

I came across this video on youtube today titled: "Young Americans Think President John F. Kennedy Died this morning in a car accident!" This video seems real, apparently this guy does a segment like this every Monday in California.
Check out the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-bao9fg6Yc

Are Californian's really that dumb?

It's not just californian's. People in general are that dumb everywhere...

I never went with CF, but I did do 3M brushed titanium. Matches the OEM metal pretty well. I originally just did the upper console which was black, but then covered the center console/clock area too to cover up the scratches.

Who the one that switched their carbon fiber vinyl to brushed aluminum?
I think it was their interior wrap?

Any pics?

^ that's nice, I am not liking my brushed aluminum, it scratches so easy and now I wanna cover it with dark brushed metal. how does vinyl stick to it, I am a little worried about it not sticking well for some reason.
