I don't recall seeing a DIY on changing the axle, is it about the same procedure as changing the front hub bearing with the exception of dealing with the hub bearing itself. If you can do the hub bearing, you should not have any problem change the axle yourself.

Thanks I did change the hub bearings myself I just got the axle and it looks like it gets bolted in it doesn't have a shaft that slides in that's why I asked for a DIY cause I never seen a axle like this.

Have it aligned to the steering wheel.

Are these heat shields? and are they what I would have to remove to get rid of the battle sound?

Yes, those are heat shields, but they're probably not the source of the rattling.

What did you do that caused the rattle?
 
So my friend took me to the Hawks game last night so I want to get a large framed piece to kind of remember it. I will take the original tickets probably buy a nice picture and then like two pictures of us. Put it all together in the same large frame with some captions.

Has anyone done something like this or have any ideas of where to start/look?

I didn't do anything. It just happens over time on these stock exhausts.. there's many threads on it.
At 85K I had the same problem, but the dealership replaced the whole system.. so they say.
I'm at ~155K, and the rattling has started.
It happens when I accelerate from low speeds and at RPMS from 0-2500 rpm

Front will be fine. For the rear I would recommend 15mm or 20mm max.

I'm running 9.5 wheels, 265 tires, with +6mm front ant +21mm rear, lowered on coils, rolled fenders, 95% no rubbing.

The c collars on my bc coilovers have come loose twice on different occasions. I tightened them as much as I could last time but they've come loose again. I've searched and people have said they use loctite and it fixes it. My question is, is there any other option? Will the loctite damage it and not allow me to raise or lower the car anymore?

do you mean the lock rings? you can try to put a very small amount and apply blue loctite. Another suggestion would be to put zip ties around the lock rings or between them
 
So question for anyone who might know. I took the FX to Infiniti the other day to have some recalls taken care of. While the tech was under the car he noticed a long wire hanging down on the passenger side. Just in front of the wheels and the braces. It was connected at both ends up inside the chassis, but there was no apparent wiring harness or clip to hold it up. Anyone ever seen/experienced this before?

I believe there is a grounding wire connected to the exhaust system. Might it be that wire?
