Ha, sorry to clarify -- but I already have two sets, this would be three=) Hahha. My goal is to be a serious pain in the butt. Don't worry, it's only Handy_Andy and myself that ever put on or take off my wheels. I won't let the dealership touch them.

You should see range rover lugs in person -- they are heavy.

I had some like that once, then I saw the guy at my local tire shop hammer a socket onto it and spin it off like it wasn't even there... If I were to get another set, they would be the style that has a free floating ring around the outside.

I had Gorilla locks before on my last car(cost me $80). They are pretty solid, with individual serial numbers and unique key pattern, with only one minus, there is a master key that can unlock any Gorilla lock(guys at Discount Tire Stores are using them).
 
Can anyone suggest a bike carrier for me? What I am looking for:
1) Tow hitch 2", not roof.
2) Moves so I can open my trunk without having to take off the carrier.
3) At minimum, 3 bikes.
4) Must be able to hold a female bike without an adapter

There are so many, if someone could even narrow it down to a brand, that would be great.
 
This is by far the nicest out there. All aluminum, add as many as you like, 2-inch hitch option, no banging around as the wheels and therefore the handlebars are secure. And no adapters for kids or womens bikes. Downside is they aren't cheap.

I have this and has served me well.. Been through four 500+mile trips and countless local runs without issue. Nice and sturdy.. I suggest you get the following items as well.. and may want to spray some rust inhibitor to prolong it's life and shine.

I can't see the first link, but I think I bought mine for $200-$300. I also bought an extender because I didn't want the tire to rotate possibly and hit the bumper. This also gives you plenty of room between the rack and the cargo area. I think mine holds 5...can't remember the name though...it's at the house.

Ian your first two links are the same (or at least point to the same thing).

When I look through it I cant see clearly. Rather a "double sighted, foggy effect"

Ah so clearly I have the stock ones. Now how would one know if I'll need TSXR or FXR? I have them out....
 
Assuming you have post recall, you want the TSXR. That's what I just swapped mine out with. Handy Andy might be able to provide some more clarity as to why it TSXR over FXR.

I went back and looked and it appears that TSX-R is POST recall headlights. Pre-recall headlights are FX-R, in terms of knowing which one you have, "Hard to tell unless you open them up, they have different "seats" for the lenses, hence two different kinds."

it depends on which generation headlights u got. post recall or the revised headlights
 
Yep, updated my statement.

You could call in your VIN to the dealer and see if they can pull up the service records. But from what I've been told, if you've taken your ride into the dealer at some point since the recall, you should have the post-recall.

I was under the impression that post recall were the "cloudy" lens, like shown above. Let the thread hang out for a while and someone should be able to tell you for sure.
 
The problem with calling the dealer is these are not the lights off MY fx. Well I have the lens out so if someone can specify how different the "seats" are I'd appreciate it

Also when ordering from theretrofitsource.com there is a premium and a value option (-$10). I'm guessing the value option is refurbished lens?
