Red Brembo brake covers? I'd remember that if they were a member......

I remember someone bring up the covers a little while back. He referrenced a ebay link and asked what we thought. He wasn't made fun of here, but was cautioned that he would be on the streets. They'ed be cool on a bicycle, moped, or wheelchair. (and all respect for handicapped, they like to trick their rides too.)

I think paining the trim works on certain colors, I agree not all trim painted FXs look good, this one however just like Logan's looks really sharp!

+1 I'd say a lot of colors and the silver looks the best. I think orange would look alright. Red, I think it needs the contrast with black.

Exactly, silver, any shade of dark, black, blue are fine all painted, the lighter the color I think it sets it off too much, not a fan of white or red all painted, for some reason doesn't work that good, I have a copper and this is a tricky color, works on some but not all, I've seen some copper all painted that were WOW and some that were OH Dear!

This one looks very clean Stu! Like I said, copper is a hit or miss, this one look every nice. but also the chrome rocker panels and front chrome lip help soften it out

actually u pointed it out urself on fx4BR's garage.. "the painted lowers and well lips give the body a lot of mass".. BUTT, i do like and am very interested in having something done with the front trim and having it painted similar to urs.. it flows very well especially if im maintaining the side and rear trim unpainted

Just asking to see what your opinion was. Yeah I debated a long time what to do with mine. The side chrome in the body color drops the body side just enough and the front is easy. i think the wheels well trim in the color is what trows me the most. Most sports cars are cut high in the fender wells, in black the disappear in color the wells look much thicker. BUT when they are black the drop doesn't look at significant. Probably just choose to see the wells unpainted if it were me.

Maybe if the all the lower sides were body colored and the wheel trim stayed black?

sometimes I wonder how such a moded FX could be around, yet the owner is not active on the site.

Yes use ATF, but I'd use matic S or Mobil 1, those are synthetic.

Don't think D is. Prob a blend.

Can't resist....so you use the very left one, how can it be right :smile (2): Just kidding around... left is not right.

OK seriously, ATF is all you needed for the power steering.

I got some Nissan radiator coolant. was wondering do it mix it 50/50 with distilled water? how much does our fx need?

Is this wheel lock any good? I have the other kind (McGard), but might add this to the car as a second set of wheel locks. This looks like it won't slow down a wheel thief that much:

10.6 quarts

Ed, I had two sets of wheel locks on last summer and it was seriously a pain in the butt. Those wheel locks look like they are five pounds each too, lol.
