Just need to call them and talk to Andre. They are local here in Simi Valley. If you don't have a specific level of TC in mind then all you need to do is tell him you have an infiniti FX and he will know what to do.

There was a tech at transgo that used to install the kits for vendors. Not sure exactly what is done, I've had mine for 2+ years now I think and it's been all good. I would not do the torque converter really. It will mostly create more heat to deal with. You're RWD so final drive changes are a great avenue to look down later.

I'd get this in a heart beat. This will fit mine right???

Also, I have a quote for the Diff from z1. I also saw the one you posted from the other forum. I don't think I'm ready for another $2500 yet.:frown:
 
Updates

Got the tune done today. Final number, 329.5 HP at the wheels. Was hoping for more but I guess 60+hp's are not bad.

It seems that when the Transmission got hot, it lost about 30HP's. Rookie was there and he said that a Transmission and engine Oil cooler would fix the issue. So I'm looking. Here is a few Videos I got while down there.

As promised before, I'll take the FX back to precision Z to get it dyno'd again with the Danyapak to have a ture before and after. Also we can compair the acctual results of one dyno with the other.
 
So how does it feel? Not sure what you were expecting, I liked the Stillen set up a lot when I had it.

DAAAAAMMMMMMNNNN. There is a day and night differance.

It's gettting to a point that it scares me. I don't know it's because I've been driving a Toyota Camery for the past 20 days or so or what. But this thing is quick.

I'm sure I'll get over it in a few days and be ready for more upgrades.:laugh:

The only Bad thing is, I now have a constant noise, much like the engine noise from bad Audio Install. I just have to trun my music louder.:wink:

are you referring to the SC noise? How loud is it? My far future plans are to FI, which setup really depends on what I learn from now to then (whenever that is):rofl:

Im guessing the whining of the SC........I've always preferred the spooling of a Snail.
 
The Stillen charger is a loud charger no matter how you look at it, enough noise to scare other drivers, little children, and dogs.

I wish I had Twin turbos instead, maybe someday when my wife finishes school....ugh. Still have the WRX though for the days when I want crazy power.:bigsmile:
