Stage 4 or TechnoSquare Tune???

Here a little update for those interested (if any). Precision Z could not finish in time due to too many obsticles they had to over come (including missing parts and injectors not ariving on time. no fault of Z1.)

I missed the appointment with Tadashi of TechoSquare and now I'm looking at Aug. 25th. Got some pics though....

Nice, you changed out the stillen IC also? What injectors are you talking about? the 7th or all new?

Yeah what intercooler is that? New injectors are Power Enterprise 380ccs. I see the fuel block adapter for the 7th is not in place. Save that in case you ever want to use it for a fuel pressure sensor.

intercooler looks like it says CX or CK?
Was the S/C painted, or did they use to come like that? interesting color.

shady's box redone in Black?

Yes Sir. Took 2 yards of Vinyl ($12) and few other Upholstery material from Jo-Ann fabric shop in Glendale, 4 hours of work (11:PM to 3:AM), and Voilà. Shady's Box reborn.

The 7th injetor is no more. There are now 6 band new Power Enterprise 550cc injetors. Actually, 5 since after puting everything together, and trunging the motor over and reving it serveral times, we found out at 5:15pm that #3 is not plugged in.:err:

I was by the way able to swith to the Stage 4 pulley at the last moment. Thanks for the Pulley again FXlr8.:top:

The SC was painted by yours truly as well. It took about 3 days and 2 cans of engine pain. Some of it has chiped off and needs a few touch-ups.

I don't know I thought red would be cool I'm thinking of getting a RED grounding kit as well to get more red in the other places.

I might even make a stencil and do something like this since it will show under the Gril.\

thanks, I just hope nothing else goes wrong this time. If it wasn't for Power Enterprise shipping the original injectors to the wrong address, it would have been done by now. But maybe all for the better, instead of 380's I now have 510cc's.

Now that I've got the engine covered, what would be the next best band for my buck? I was thinking valvebody upgrade. I heard you can get them done for about $350 or so.

VB is between 600-1k before labor depending on the VB used.

510cc's are a bit overkill, but at the same price it's fine.

If you are going to do the VB then you might as well do the torque converter at the same time to save time avoid going back into the tranny again later.

had to do with the 510's since the 380's never made it. I was told that VB upgrae is just making the valves bigger so there is more flow to the transmission. I know stillen has it for about $650 plush shipping. However; I was told by Precission Z that he knows a Trani Shop that does it for 1/2. Again, this is hearsay, and I don't know the first thing about it. I've been looking around for pricing on the Torque Converters, but could not find any.

This is the kit that is used on some of the more popular VB mods. http://gtmotorsports.com/product.php?productid=16574&cat=262&page=1

There was a tech at transgo that used to install the kits for vendors. Not sure exactly what is done, I've had mine for 2+ years now I think and it's been all good. I would not do the torque converter really. It will mostly create more heat to deal with. You're RWD so final drive changes are a great avenue to look down later.
