Some sad issues with my FX :(

Sorry to hear this Aaron. Your FX has been through a lot of issues lately. I hope they take care of this for you for good.

Contact Infiniti Corporate for help. They helped me with the alignment issue I had plus credited me the bill. Some folks like meme on here ridiculed me about my alignment issue that I posted on the forum and told me Corporate wouldn't do anything for me. Corporate knew that this was my 3rd Nissan, 2nd Infiniti, and not only did they send me an apology letter, they had my issue fixed, and sent me a pre-paid credit card. Lets just say that the Service Manager at that dealer no longer works there!!

I just saw this, I thought it was an independant shop that fixed the issue? Or was it not as you stated in your last post in that thread?

Also I call bullshit on them refunding you anything. Feel free to prove me wrong. Just because the dealer quoted you a ridiculous price does not in any way in hell mean they are going to send you money back for the service of taking it elsewhere.

Also I ridiculed you because you wrote an entire wall of text in caps lock. Then you got upset with me when I "insinuated" (as you called it) that you were yelling at us. Which is exactly what writing in capital letters signifies (AKA emphasis or yelling).

Post originally made in that thread posted here:

Just wanted to post a follow-up, so this maybe helpful to others in the future.
Today, I took the car to a well known local shop with an in-house alignment machine. After a thorough multi-point inspection, the mechanic basically told me that NORRIS NISSAN lied to me about my rear controls arms being seized as I suspected, and wanted to up sell me something that was never damaged in the first place. Regardless, the shop was able to perform a total four-wheel alignment by appropriately making adjustment of caster, camber and toe in on all four wheels. The car drives 100% better than before and had NORRIS NISSAN did a proper alignment the first place, and not try to take an advantage of me, I wouldn't be going through all this trouble. Instead of paying them $1246.68 for BS/FRAUD, I paid another $90 to have the alignment done correctly.

I expressed my concerns to the service manager at Norris via e-mail and sent him the invoice and work up this shop did, that shows how they were able to align all 4 wheels without a problem. Nissan Corporate was notified as well. Always get a second opinion no matter what!!

Also to add to that in your posts in that topic you were pissed off because they wouldn't just change out bushings, guess what thats not how dealers do servicing, just like how they don't rebuild alternators like some specialty shops do.

Dealerships troubleshoot find the defective part and replace the entire assembly. Hell I have seen them replace an entire caliper instead of rebuilding it, they did this even though Infiniti has a rebuild procedure and kit for the akebono calipers.

Aaron good luck with the FX, thanks for the info for other members. I could definitely see others missing a small leak from that area.

I hope this fixes it all up and you don't have to deal with the problems anymore.

I'm sure it would of been expensive.

I looked over the work and the tech did great work. Also got a free coolant flush with the blue long life antifreeze
