Silver Surfer - FX45 :: 2006 Infiniti FX45

How spaced out are the 21's? They look a little sucked in to me from that first pic. But since it's from the side I can't tell if it's an optical illusion. I think if they were/looked as spaced out as the GTR's they might look just as good, if not better.

Camber suck is bad, ride is low enough to play hell with the stance. I am running 35mm spacers in front and 30mm in the rear and it is still pulled in enough to piss me off. Hoping that by pulling the rear up a bit the W/Ts will pop back out.

Perfect FX

Thank you my friend.

Do you have the SPC bolts in rear? Maybe you could dial out some of the negative camber, every 1 degree would push the top of the tire out ~5mm. But then you may rub if you're slammed. The rear does camber a lot when you drop it, on the max drop, I'm at -3 which looks kind of extreme on an SUV. I had to almost max out the front camber plates so it would match. I think you'd have to raise it a lot to get rid of the camber. I'm not sure about if the camber curve is linear in rear or not, but I don't think so. With H&R's, I was already at -1.7 degrees or so and that's barely a drop. By going down almost 2" more, I only went to -3 degrees.

Don't have the bolts, but that's a good option. It looks like we are running nearly the same size circumference set up. Your stance is much better, my rear is too low. Need to try raising it first to see what happens.

Man that thing is pretty.

I'm coming up to Seattle on Friday. You want to grab lunch?

Absolutely!

Too bad the OEM 21" offset is like +50. They don't make spacers big enough, or at least not safe ones. I'm at +5 w/ 10.5", so the 9.5" would take a -5 or so to be equivalent. I couldn't imagine a 55mm spacer...

21"s still look good though.

In for another tune today, replaced plugs and the O2 sensors, both were fouled from the poorly executed tune after the engine was finally wrapped up. I'll pick it up tomorrow, hoping for an even smoother power band. Still haven't fulfilled my desire for the perfect TB set up, maybe on the next run. 11k on the new engine no major issues, so far as a daily driver it's all good.
