Wanted to change the spring rates on my front struts from 10 to 12. BC cost was 4-500 to change out the springs (that and 3-4 weeks of down time) I was able to sell my BC's for a fair price and pick up the highly rated KIDO's with no down time.....

That and I am a sucker for a GB =)
 
Ah yeah, good way to go. I wouldn't mind changing my springs up a bit, but for the most part I haven't noticed any issues.
 
Really the rates were pretty solid as-is but I kept hearing that they should should be same or higher in the front for sport (most of the input was not so much DD but race influenced). Don't want to drive a brick but definitely something that feels firm. We'll see what happens, Ed and I have each other convinced this will be one of those silver bullets everyone is talking about =)
 
I thonk what Tim is referring to is my coil over "down time" comment and the fact that my ride gas been out of comission for months.....
 
Later than sooner, deal never really happened. Seller left wheels at a Firestone dealer and wheels disappeared......dealer comped seller $850.00. A shame how it went down and nothing I can do about it =(
 
No money changed hands but the story got fairly large and a bit hard to follow. Would have been a good deal had it been for reals.
 
Thanks Tom, still in development mode. Third engine attempt is nearly complete (hopefully finished this weekend) once its running and disled in the work will continue.....
