Dee, do you mind posting a DIY, i think im going to try this on my old red tail lights.

Got in a wreck a few weeks back and the body shop just blacked mine out. Just saw them and they look good but yours are defiantly eye catching. Wanna Trade ???

I tried removing my reverse lights, what a PITA. I didnt even what to try the brake lights.

that's why I just painted the outside, Jeff did a great job pulling his lights apart and doing the painting from the inside but that's to much work involved that way. but he did it nicely.

that looks cool, do another set & take your time, use tape instead of tint, make a stencil instead of the stickers & spray the text too. if you do them perfect they look sick...

also interesting is the red lights use a clear side reflector instead of red, so if you butcher a red pair and a clear pair, you can use the white reflector in the clear tail all painted black & have no red at all out back... I'm going to do a pair soon...

but theres a reason it is red in the clear housings...not sure what NY laws are but iirc the red is required here in CA for the rears and the orange for the fronts. Im with you tho it would look great clear, but I'd stick a red bulb behind it, even tho the red bulbs always tend to look pinkish...
