OEM Aero Front Spoiler Instructions

Jonas, you should be able to get one close to that price at that Dealer near you, that I told you about.

Thanks Wayne...yep I remember! :)

The list of items I want for the car just never stop. After a good chunk going to winter tires and rims, now I need the weathertech floormats, want to buy dog travel car items, remote auto start, front spoiler, etc. :)

Tuche Jonas. The list never stops. Surprised you haven't got the weathertechs yet. That should be like first priority imo. I would say get the aero front lip after the winter bc its going to get all beat up by them harsh sand trucks and messy roads.

@Gee35FX: Looks great! Like you, I am apprehensive about installing the rest of the kit. Nice to know the front-lip only mod looks this fantastic.

Did it significantly change your Approach Angle? I am worried about scraping speed bumps. (Not lowered)
Thx!

No it did not really change the approach angle much. The only thing you would have to watch is pulling up to curbs. I had the FX lowered on Eibachs for a while and still never, ever had a problem.
I highly reccommend the front lip, it makes a huge difference on the appearance of the ride. I think it is the best bang for your buck as far as appearance goes.

I completely agree about the look. I needed to see the side view before I pulled the trigger on the order from Sewell. Thanks for the additional information. I just may pm you if I have any installation questions as I intend (try) to DIY.:nerd (2):

No problem, PM me anytime, it is actually a fairly easy install.

Gee35fx you said we cant use the front and rear OEM splash guards with the full aero kit ....do you think there's a way to make it work?? ....why cant it work ?

The instructions for the kit say that. The Aero side sills and rear spats interfere with the splash guards. I suppose if you did some cutting and modifications to get them to work together it would be possible. You would have to check them out to see how much work it would be.

I know the instructions for the front aero spoiler say it cannot be used with the tech package with the ICC sensor in front. Well I have that and everything has worked perfectly for thousands of miles.

ill have to second that, i actually got my splasguards in with my full aero body kit, waste of money, painted them and everything, when it came to installing there was no posibble way of doing so, the side skirts change the moldure and there is no place for the splash guards to actually fit in properly, what youll end up having is a bigggg hole between the side skirt and the splash guard.. so yea! good luck, if you end up cutting and modifying them, please post some pictures so we can see how it was done! thanks bra

i asked john(turbocad6) about it today ...he is gonna be the one to put the kit on when i get it ....he said the same thing you guys said might need cuting and fitting i dont think i want them that bad.

Dwayne , I would get the full Aero kit over the splashguards.
or, go as I have and run the splashguards and the front Aero Spoiler.

Is there a consensus on the lowest price for an aero kit? I'm located in Ontario but have access to a shipping address in Niagara falls on the NY side.
Tried infinitiparts but the shipping from AZ kills it.

I would think buying it from the dealer in NY and have them delivered it to your NY address is the way to go.. There shouldn't be a charge for delivery since they use their own parts truck..

Sweet :top: MrMont08, it's the best mod for looks you can do on the 2nd Gen.

I look forward to your installed pics.:smile (2):

Gee...do you have the Graphite Silver or the Brilliant Silver ? I'm looking to get the kit for my 2012 but my contact at Infiniti is telling me that there is no color code match for my color (I have the Graphite on Graphite - 2012). Infiniti doesn't change their main colors so I figure whatever the "dark silver" color is from the kit (the year on the kit is 2010) should match my color...is that what you did ?

I have the Platnum graphite on my 2009 FX, it is called Diamond Graphite in Canada. It is the darker silver.
I just checked my Paint Code number with the Code that came on the Spoilerand it was the same Paint Code.

I asked Joe @ Scottsdale Infiniti about this and this was his reply...I don't understand why they wouldn't match ???

No, your color code is KAD. Each code is distinctly different, however they do use the same color codes year-to-year, model-to-model.

Joe...is this not the same color ? Infiniti keeps all their basic colors the same year to year, no ?
