Member's other Modded rides

Got mine for $1700 two years ago but it was in poor condition compared to what is available. A decently clean 1st generation with around 120,000 miles is going to be 3000-5000. Rocker rust is a red flag - most guys say to wait for a clean one. Places like miata.net and clubroadster.com have Miatas for sale in that range all the time.

yea those miata.net guys have too CLEAN of miatas for my taste.

All i'm looking for is a NON-rust body, somewhat clean. 150k, all manual 1.8L $2200 or under. Most of the ones i find are $4k range.

I was seriously looking 2 years ago and found nothing, so i opted to buy a motorcycle with the $5k budget i had. Now i'm looking again but i figured i need to get one thats NOT in the salt belt.

Yes, egt sensor. I agree with the egr, I disabled mine as well.

These miatas look a lot of fun and mods are more affordable. If I only have a garage.

updates on the wifes mazda3 "pics"

well I don't know if you guys remember my wifes mazda3 from a year ago, since then I bought some bc racing coilovvers for her early b-day and a set of xxr 521 wheels with 215/35/18 nankang ns2 for her last christmas gift. I do have the fenders rolled in rear with them pulled about 3mm to prevent rubbing, she is running hella flush and looks mean going down the road, lol. maybe one of these days ill have a nice ride like her, hehe.

yeah i like my OEM's a lot since only 10 RWD M37 sports actually exist in the NYC tri-state area... (most are the 18"WHEEL awd versions)

i get tons of compliments and the BC Coilovers are made for the M37 RWD... I had to do some R&D for BC Racing... they're a lot better than the OEM struts w/ Eibach springs b/c it's a heavy car, the FX actually feels more planted than the M did on turns

Now a 2 SUV family, traded in the truck yesterday. I didn't get to get my midlife CTS-V but I guess thats ok. At least I dont have to ride around in that beast and a truck anymore! Mods are already enroute...

The store had some platinum edition 24" knockoffs on it to the tune of 4,500 bucks which they can gladly keep and we asked them to remove the chrome package, door handles and mirror caps. Got a great deal since I work for the company. Our salesman was stunned when the GSM offered up his office for us to eat the food they grilled out back on Saturday and then the Central Region Used Car director was there negotiating on my behalf. It was nice to not feel like you are getting it handed to you.
Here it is with the 24's and chrome trim although you cant really tell indoors.

Okay, this is definitely not my ride, but I thought this little and low bob-tail rat rod of a moped was pretty cool. I didn't know where to post this but knew "WTF", "Alluring and Funny", and "next to a Supercar" would not be appropriate spots.
