Now that is a nice 3 thumbs up on the wheel choice!

Under construction for me is a 2003 g35 coupe with built ls2/t56 from a 06 GTO with a 72 trim rear mount . Brembos, bc coilovers, upgraded brakes, etc.. Should be pretty fun when finished, a sleeper besides the eng caming!!

Decided to attack the Bikini top last night so I could debut it at this morning's coffee and cars. Best Miata turnout since this location became host to Houston C&C.

The install was not straightforward because of my style of roll bar. I had to fab a cross brace that would then connect to the bikini top center bar. It's a working prototype. Now that I have it up, I'll fab a second "production" run - better fit & finish than the current setup, with a couple of tweaks I have kicking around in my head.

While the hard top was off, I installed a full set of OEM window seals, harvested from my now defunct soft top. Thats also where the front bow, latches & strikers for the bikini top came from.

Aftermarket seal removed, OEM installed:

Should be completed before the end of the month - will look pretty much brand new in every way after that...

^^ is it going to be two tone?

Nope, but the Miata has texture on the lower half. The body work was really only needed above the midline.

Tchuck - not much has changed? It's quite dusty from the body shop which might play with the perceived colors a little but it looked pretty much the same before and after the rebuilt motor was installed a couple months ago.

Whoa! I just looked at the picture closer. I thought it was all black now... :o

Had the wifey express tinted yesterday. I'm pretty happy with it. It's 38% Infinity all around. Not very dark from the inside but highly reflective (90%UV) with a slight silver tone from the outside. Sort of like the Lexus factory tint without the green...

The Tahoe is coming along slowly. Mostly minor cosmetics. Rear drop parts are here. Had intake, exhaust, sub. Tint update: drove to FL from Dallas, no problems with 5% tint all around :)
