he must be referring to the lane departure warning system. But again this feature can be switched off if you don't want to hear that constant beeping.
this is LDW, which is different all together.

Ugh too many acronyms. :tongue (2): I already have to look at another manufacturer's for work, don't need any more.
I beg to differ. It is way more intrusive than that. I have allowed it to kick in and I am FAR from hitting anything. I can see the value in the technology; maybe I just need to be a little more patient with it?

"LDW" is pretty cool really. This will bring the car back into the lane right? I have played with that; I like the warning and not so much the activation of the brakes to bring the car back into the lane. With that said, I have not fallen asleep at the wheel.........EVER!
And blind monitoring system for our 2nd gen FXs....that one really pisses me off, especially with how bad the blind spots are. 80% of the time, I turn on the turn signal, wait 3 seconds, turn slowly, and pray.

Nothing ever beats a good diligent over should look (or two or three)! I agree with the blind spots completely. The little blind spot stick on mirrors on the bottom outside corner of the side view mirrors work amazing; just have to lean to use utilize them. Probably the best three bucks you will spend!
Yeah but you lose 5 hp with those on.
are you serious with that? I have one on. Helps me a lot
