h&r sport or eibach pro lowering kit?

Hmphhh... this thread is making me re-think my earlier idea in swapping from Eibach to H&R... I don't know anymore.

I think I'll try a new set of shocks/struts and see if I pick up some of my lost comfort. I'm glad it has been confirmed that the stiffer setup of the Eibachs vs H&Rs provides superior handling, as I couldn't wrap my mind around a softer suspension offering better handling (just doesn't make sense, even with progressive rate springs).

Now I just have to get shocks and struts and decide from there if it'd be worth picking up an additional bit of comfort and lose some handling... we'll see.

Pupp we should get a meet going sometime in the summer... I should be home (Chicago) a lot during this summer, tons of free time!

edit: OH, almost forgot... today I saw a SLAMMED DG FX35 driving around Bloomingdale (IL) I think... anyways it looked lower than mine and my girlfriend agreed. I wasn't in my FX, but it definitely looked like cut Eibachs or something, there was like a finger or two gap in the wheel well at best... maybe he was fully loaded up and on Eibachs? Either that or some cuttery was going on...

We dropped it likes it hot...Somebody asked me if I had a big  when the installer brought it back from the test drive. Im just assuming you were probably  from ear to ear.

FX looks great! Apparently they will settle even lower given some time.

More importantly, how is the handling, balance and body roll??

the handlin and balance is great

the center of gravity is amazing

car does not feel like its goin to tip around sharp corners and wow really sportier look

thumbs up on this kit

and highly recommend it shouldve got this earlier =]
good investment:tup:

Guys,

All the Eibach Pro-kits I have seen state that they are for the 03-05 FX. I assume its the same kit for the 06-08 models?

should be, but i cant confirm for sure. my h&r's were previously on an '06. just check their 06-08 part number, and i bet its the same.

Edit: both numbers are 6366.54 per Eibach's website, for either 2005 or 2007.
