h&r sport or eibach pro lowering kit?

It's not that one is better. It just depends on the ride you want. If you want a stiffer sportier ride, then go for the Eibach. If you want a smoother ride then go for the H&R's.

H&Rs are as sporty as Eibachs.. They're not soft. The major difference is that the ride is more comfortable (still pretty stiff) but when it comes to corners, they're really good.. Plus, wasn't there a guy at the .org that snapped his Eibach?

Seems like the majority of the members on here have H&R's. I have H&R's and I am really happy with them. The ride is great.

holy crap $650 dollars for EIBACH PRO LOWERING KIT, Labor, and Alignment

thats the price stillen gave me :mad:

any where in the oc or near the oc that is alot cheaper?

The spring swap will cost a min 3 hr job. At an average $80, it'll be $240. The H&Rs cost about $260-280 as well so you'll definitely spend a min $500 for the whole thing. Don't forget the alignment cost after a week or so as well..

Street Image in Baldwin Park charged me $120 labor. I took him the springs and then 1 month later I took it for an allignment.

Got the springs for $240 on ebay and $80 for allignment.

So $440 for everything.

well i guess imma buy the eibachs and then find a place that is cheap for labor
and then get it alligned

still dont know which ones to buy
which ones go lower eibachs or h&rs
did research on it but gettin 2 different views on them

I have had my eibachs around 3 years with no problems. Looking at the springs when the car is up they still are in great shape, no oxidation.... nada. I will be switching to cut h&r's soon so I can't compare yet.

dont think that only eibachs are stiff and sporty. they are both stiff and sporty. however, h&r's ride better than stock, so people always say that, which makes people think they arent sporty. eibachs are just the stiffer of the two.
best comparison i can make is that eibachs give you a more sporty ride, but its harsher, while h&r's give a more sporty ride, but also ride better. h&r is a complete upgrade, while eibach just upgrades the sporty side of the ride. either way you will be happy though as long as you can take a somewhat harsh ride.

I did h&r's which are slightly less drop than eibachs, then I cut the h&r's 1/2 coil & trimmed the rear mounts...

the 1/2 coil cut did not kill the ride, it did stiffen it slightly over the stock h&r's, but the end result is 1/4" lower than even eibachs! can't say weather it's now as stiff as eibachs, haven't tried eibachs to really say for sure, but that would be my recomendation, cut h&r's... there lower than even eibachs in the end & most likely ride better still than eibachs, or at least as good I'm sure... I have seen a few guys go from eibachs to h&r's with no regrets, that should tell you something... never seen anyone go from h&r's to eibachs though...
