FX50 Aftermarket Fitment of 22x10.5 - offset concerns

Silly question, but was that picture showing poke taken at drive height? I see the jack under there and can't tell from the angle. Side pic shows it jacked up. If it's not at drive height, the look won't be accurate since the wheels will camber in some on the ground. My tires poke out 1.5" + front and back when the FX is jacked up, but are flush at drive height because of camber.

Nah, the jack was completely down when I took the pics, just didn't bother to move it out of the way. So yes, it was at drive height. Once I get the new spacers in I'll mount everything up with the H&R drop and show the complete setup. I might be at a point where I am considering custom fenders to extend out over the minimal poke, similar to what Jordan was looking at from a little while back on the forum. It'd be nicer if I could find something 'off the shelf', but I've not had much luck locating anything as of yet.

Actually, this is the link from Jordan's findings, seems to be direct bolt-on. http://www.i-gear.ru/style/details/...h-arok-infiniti-fx35-fx37-fx50-fx30d-qx70-v20

I like 'em!

Yeah...libertywalk FX50 with 325 rears, 285 fronts...I'd be a buyer

Those fender extensions from our friends in Russia may be the ticket. I'm having one of my Russian colleagues from work communicate with them to get them dialed up. Good thing about those is I could definitely go to the 295 or 305 size and not have ANY issues.

New studs and spacers arrived ahead of the snowstorm. Guess what I'm doing this evening/tomorrow morning...

All done. It was a bit of a PITA to get the new studs installed in the front, but it worked. 10mm spacer in the front and 15mm in the rear. Zero vibration on hubcentric setup. Wider track feels stable and responsive. Here's the final setup...

Now waiting on my h&r springs, that should pull everything in nice and tight to the fenders. I will be removing the cross bars on top for the off season since I probably won't be snowboarding any more this year.

I am now 70mm wider in total in the rear and 60mm wider in total in the front with this setup.

Front poke:

FYI:

I've the biggest BBK (16" with 8 pistons), running on 22x10.5+33. Plenty of clearance, slammed with no rub issue. Wheels are designed with max concave and clearance in mind, fully custom and perfect fitment. I wouldn't be selling this if I'm not going widebody.

Sweet. Good to hear that. My springs should be here by the weekend. Drop cometh. Then time to do the exhaust.

Damnit. I lied, seems like I am getting a vibration. May be front right hub, gotta go get it checked. Feels less like a balance issue and more of a hub bearing problem.

If it came since you installed your wheels and spacers, they could be the problem. Try loosening your front wheels and retorque them in the proper sequence to 80ft/lbs (do not over torque)

Yeah I am going to try to back everything off and retorque. I am running hubcentric spacers with the hubcentric rings on the aftermarket wheels, so I did everything right from a setup perspective.

Thanks. I think the only difference on my setup vs your write-up is that mine is a stud replacement application and my hub ring sits on the inside of my wheels. It is possible that there is a balance issue. But I am also hearing a humming noise on the front right as well.

Yes it could be a bearing also.
Keep us up to date on what you find.

Your setup looks great.

Yep...will do. I have a feeling it is the bearing. I got pretty aggressive with that corner in installing the new studs. May have knocked em loose from their seating when I attempted to pull off the hub assembly. Found it easier to pound in the new extended studs from the side.
